EATING WITH PCOS UPDATE

Earlier this month I was featured in Stabroek News (https://www.stabroeknews.com/2020/09/13/sunday/pcos-activist-seeks-to-help-women-live-comfortably-in-their-skin/?fbclid=IwAR3z1SoqWPIHgXXMZ49VSWdjMhadgYOCv8nW7jtYUQwoqC_GLuHlgqSj0p0) in that interview, I was asked “What advice would you give to a person with the same condition?

I said:

  • Be patient, especially if you feel like aren't making progress.

  • Holistic lifestyle change, Mind-body-soul approach is very important.

  • You do not need to go on birth control and take metformin as a way to fix your PCOS,  because there is no fix, it is about managing your symptoms.

  • Sometimes your weight gain is a symptom of your Pcos and not a fix for your PCOS.

  • You really have to focus on foods that won't leave you feeling inflamed and bloated.

  • Basically everything I said on my “We out here with PCOS” post.

In September, Eating with PCOS turned one, and Shop Eating with PCOS is officially two months old. I am truly honoured to have made it to this point, and cannot wait to see where we will go on this journey.

With that being said, I am excited to announce the launch of new services, personalized consultations for you to start your journey, lifestyle coaching services, group support, Living with PCOS crash course. In the coming weeks, there will be the full roll-out of the details of these services on the website.

We are in this together, we are and will continue to manage our PCOS and live our best lives!
