Nutana's Banana halwa (pudding)

I was craving creamy wholesome goodness, so experimented and developed my take on banana halwa, eating with PCOS means NO ADDED SUGAR (just the natural sweetness from bananas).

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups skim milk

  2. 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  3. 1 cup of almond flour (blanched)

  4. 1 cup of natural almond flour

  5. 250g of banana (chopped)

  6. 50g of cashew (chopped)

  7. 1 tsp nutmeg

  8. 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Add butter to heated pan.

  2. Then add natural almond flour, let fry for 2-3 minutes

  3. Add nutmeg and cinnamon

  4. Decrease heat to medium

  5. Add milk and stir

  6. Add bananas and cashews, let simmer for 2-4 minutes

  7. Continuous stirring until it starts to thicken

  8. Add blanched almond flour

  9. Continue to stir until thick.
